Faces of Sickness

Tai Archbold has written a self help/personal empowerment book called Faces of Sickness, sick as $!*? .

I was highly entertained and inspired after reading this well put together book. The experiences shared in this book were sometimes very dramatic but could be related to on many different levels. I did not walk away from this read and feel bad or guilty about myself and the many positive changes I needed to make. I felt empowered and self-reflective. It was an all around pleasant and uplifting experience.

She has a web site, Nu-me Enterprises, which is an inspirational company offering self help services. Her book can be purchased from almost every book store, Amazon being an easier accessible option.

Coinage of Commitment

Finally, a mainstream, high literary love story written by male author, Rob Costelloe

This novel, Coinage of Commitment, is about characters who love at a higher level than the rest of us have sight for. Not only did the plot grab me early and lead me on to a dramatic and suspenseful ending, but this book is just plain well written, a pleasure to read. And the ending left me panting for more. I was skeptical of a book claiming to be about love at a higher level, and I'm not sure I would describe the story in those terms. But I must admit that this story is largely about characters who want to love at a higher level, and the tensions and conflict, the intensity of emotion they experience as a result are unlike any I've ever found in a comparable novel. This was unlike anything I've ever read.

Twilight Series

I have to admit, that after reading
, I was totally hooked. I could not put this book down long enough to eat a meal. I finished it within 2 days and had to literally run out the door and buy book 2 and 3 of the series.

I got hooked, and bad. After finishing all 3 books in just 5 days, it wasn't enough. I had to buy the audio books and start listening to them on my pod. Stephenie Meyer has ultimately led me to an inner side of me I once knew and have long ago sinse forgotten until now. Well worth a read at minimum.

Alex Webster and the Gods

HIGHLIGHTS:

If you love wit, satire, romance, mythology, all wrapped up in a darn good story, then you will enjoy reading Alex Webster and the Gods. Although many could find something offensive in this novel, which pokes fun at the commercialization of religion, they will find it impossible not to laugh.

Anyone who enjoys Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore and Terry Pratchett, will enjoy Alex Webster and the Gods.

The Writer Behind the Words

The Writer Behind the Words: Steps to Success in the Writing Life

This easy-to-read handbook is something you can return to over and over again. It is a great book that every writer needs to have in their collection. It is an excellent book that addresses the often overlooked 'emotional' needs of every writer – and is a great comfort book.

The author focus is 'off the beaten path' – she doesn't focus on the "how to write" or "how to submit and get published" type of topics. Instead she focuses more on providing 'support' to writers, beginner or experienced, to help them keep going when things get tough, or nothing seems to be happening. Some of the topics would include:

The business of writing

How to move your writing career forward

Surviving & Thriving in the writing life

Developing a writing career

Getting started as a Writer

Dealing with setbacks

Taking care of yourself – the writer

Knowing the business – making yourself aware of the publishing industry and the pitfalls to avoid

The Sapphire Pendant

After reading this book I went out and bought a family heirloom I intend to pass on to my two daughters.
This intriguing novel about love and family, it is filled with drama, relationships and above all, it's about a lasting love.

I loved this book because of the wonderful love story, and I really enjoyed the West Indian influence placed throughout.

The Sapphire Pendant is a powerful contemporary love story.
